Mile 20: Ninety Seconds of fame (or fit)

With two days to go, I’m starting to hear the old ship creak… apparently this is normal before the London marathon. We’ve been winding down the training – loading up the pasta – and the nerves are beginning to creep in.

So it helps to put it all into perspective with this 90-second interview for Brain Research – and remind myself what it’s all been about.

On the day of filming, Olivia (forever excited about the concept of becoming a dancer or an actress) got complete stage-fright and had to be taken away for water having gone white as a sheet at the one question put to her about Daddy’s brain. Meanwhile, Lukas was just happy to check out the lapel-microphone which had apparently once been worn by Hugh Jackman.

This is what an epileptic fit feels like Mile 8: Give me a Gun…

Incidentally, 90-seconds is also the length of time I took to have an epileptic fit, and the song Monika was talking about was Comfortably Numb!
